Audrey Caylor is an Impressionistic wildlife and western artist. She is a member of the American Impressionist Society, The National Oil and Acrylic Society, the Lake Granbury Art Association, The Cross Timbers Fine Art Council.  Her medium of choice Oil and Acrylic, Artist Audrey Caylor is a native Texan. Her and her husband bought a ranch in Lingleville, Tx in 2017 where they raise registered Brahman and commercial angus cattle. Her studio view of the Texas Hill Country is often her inspiration for her work.
“I can often be found in a bar ditch in Texas, photographing my next subject on the other side of the barbed wire fence”. She is passionate about painting animals in a bold brush style, while also betraying the softer side of the animal. Her art can be found in Galleries in the Ft Worth Stock Yards, to the Texas Hill Country, Hico, Navasota, Possum Kingdom, Lake, Stephenville TX, at Exhibition Shows and her website.
She believes an artist is always learning and developing, and she teaches private lessons as well has attends workshops and takes lesson from other artist. Audrey states “Every painting I paint teaches me something, either about art or the animal, and what a gift both can be.”
